 There was once a country called Zakiam in the vast and varied continent of Africa. Its inhabitants had a positive outlook and big ambitions for the future. However, a web of corruption and greed flourished inside the corridors of power buried beneath the impressive façade of development and unification.

President Zakairaya was a charming politician who governed Zakiam with an iron fist and a silver tongue. He spoke of openness, progress, and a better future, but in practice, he and his inner circle were stealing from the nation's coffers for their own advantage. The judiciary, legislature, and media were all under the authority of President Zakairaya and his supporters since corruption permeated the whole system.

But President Zakairaya and his allies were sly. They were able to go around the international pressure and hold onto power by finding ways to avoid it. They continued their unscrupulous behaviour by manipulating international partners with their illicit cash.

The story of Amina and Zakiam serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges faced by many African nations struggling with corrupt governance. While some progress was made in the wake of Amina's sacrifice, the true change would require a collective effort from both the people of Zakiam and the international community. Only by shining a light on corruption and demanding accountability could Africa's bright future truly be realized.
