The Nigerian Civil War and Ogbunigwe

This is a story of how the Ogbunigwe bomb was created as an emergency bomb by the Biafran side during the Nigeria civil war, is beautifully captured here in this series of tweets, take a read: https://twitter.com/okwuohq/status/1673005433278156810

In 1967 a civil war that lasted three years broke out in Nigeria. This war will not only destroy the lives and property of the nation but will go on to break trust, peaceful coexistence and impend national growth. 60 years plus, Nigeria still hasn’t moved on from the leftovers of that war. The Igbo-speaking people of south-eastern Nigeria wanted a new country, called Biafra but the national government opposed it, and a military invasion was carried out which resulted in a full-fleshed war.
